Councillor Vacancy

Following the uncontested May 2023 election, we have a Councillor vacancy on the Parish Council, which is to be filled by co-option.

The term of office will run until May 2027.

If you are interested in serving as a Councillor please contact the Clerk, Nia Rands, to register your interest and obtain an application form by Friday 19th May 2023.

To qualify, a person must be a British subject, aged over 18 years old, and an elector; and must reside in, or within 3 miles of, the Englefield Parish boundary, or occupy as owner or tenant any land or premises therein, or have their principal or only place of work there, and must not be disqualified from holding office as a Councillor.

Parish Council Meetings

The dates of forthcoming Parish Council Meetings are:

Tuesday 19th March 2024 – 6.30p.m.

Tuesday 14th May 2024 – 

  • Annual Council Meeting – 6.30p.m.
  • Annual Parish Meeting – 7.00p.m.

Meetings are held in Englefield Village Hall and members of the parish are very welcome to attend.
